Established in 2008 by founder and owner Travis Hooper, SEI Home Inspections and local SEI inspectors bring years of industry knowledge and experience to your home. Our knowledge comes from the actual application of building codes and hands on inspection experience, not just classroom lessons.
SEI Home Inspections has been in business for over thirteen years and has hundreds of satisfied clients, but the experience and expertise of SEI Home Inspections started well before its creation. Founder, Owner & local Inspector Travis Hooper has been in the Greater Houston area home inspection and residential construction business for more than 15 years. Travis also has many years experience rehabbing older or existing homes in the Houston area. This experience has given SEI Home Inspectors great knowledge of construction techniques used from the 1900’s to present day. Knowledge can be a major advantage during pre-purchase inspections for buyers or home investors who are looking to buy existing homes in the Houston area. Our home inspection reports can give you the assurance that the home in question will be around and functioning for many years.
We specialize in new and existing home construction, thermal imaging inspections, electromagnetic field testing, pool inspections, mold inspections and phase inspections of new home construction.
SEI Inspections LLC utilizes the latest in Residential Inspection Technology to make your inspection experience as easy and convenient as possible. SEI starts by using the latest in inspections software allowing the finished inspection report to be received any way you want- email, fax or mail, but the inspection report goes even deeper than that. Emailed inspection reports are interactive also. Inspection reports will contain a combination of video, audio and digital images, helping you understand the condition of your future home before you decide to buy. In addition, SEI utilizes thermal imaging inspection technology to help identify problems that may be hidden behind the walls of your future home. These problems can range from a pinhole water leak to missing insulation. And the use of thermal imaging inspection technology is at NO ADDITIONAL COST to you. This inspection report will give you the security to know you are making a wise investment. In addition, most of the home inspections process can be handled online too. From our website you can sign the inspection contract, make a payment and view your home inspection report. All from the comfort of your home or office.

It should be said that there have been five other potential home inspectors that had the opportunity to work with SEI Home Inspections and Ryan Andrasek is the only inspector that I would trust to inspect under the SEI Home Inspection name.

I'm so happy we used SEI to do the inspection for our new home. Travis was incredibly thorough with the inspection itself as well as the inspection report, which he got back to us in a very timely manner. I definitely recommend SEI to anyone in the process of buying a house!
